Split Face
Split face units have a rough texture, similar to natural stone. As the splitting process reveals the aggregates used in the block, aggregate selection and integral color can alter the final appearance of the block. Split face block can also be manufactured with vertical scores, which provide strong vertical lines in the finished wall.
